Totally off the beaten path this unassuming breakfast stop will give you a home cooked breakfast for reasonable prices. You can get the best breakfast of classic egg platters, home fries, and belgian waffles, the house speciality. I got a biscuit and sausage gravy and let me tell you that plate was full, you will not leave hungry. We also heard that they have the best peanut butter pie. Try at your own risk the slices were generous.

Known for the famous sticky buns, you can also find french toast, omelets and eggzadilla to say the least.

Of course, if you’re looking for familiar options, major chains like First Watch and Cracker Barrel are available, but Vero Beach truly shines with its variety of charming, local mom-and-pop spots that are well worth exploring.
On my list for next time are Café 66, Baci Trattoria, and Tasty-O Donuts, which I missed out on. A lot of local places have limited hours, so be sure to check the dates and times before you go.
And after a good meal, I highly recommend a stop at the McKee Botanical Garden for a peaceful and scenic way to continue your day. Or drive up to see the Indian River Lagoon.
