Juno Beach is a pristine stretch of sand and surf that is perfect for a day of relaxation or adventure. Whether you're looking to sunbathe, swim, or simply stroll along the shore, this beach offers a tranquil escape. I highly recommend waking up early and catching the sunrise.
Don't miss the chance to explore the nearby dog-friendly area, where you can enjoy the company of playful pups and the beauty of the ocean. The dog beach is north of the pier from Marcinski Rd to Carlin Park.
For a $2 you are able to walk out in the pier.
2. Visit the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum Grounds
While the tour inside the lighthouse comes with a fee. But wandering the grounds of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse is free. The area provides stunning views of the inlet and a peek into the region's history. The surrounding nature trails and picnic spots make it an ideal place for a leisurely afternoon.
The Jupiter lighthouse has been a part of Jupiter since 1860. The Jupiter lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
And if you pay the entrance fee and take the climb there are 105 cast iron stairs spiraling to the top where you will meet a panoramic view of Jupiter inlet.
3. Hike, Bike, or Kayak at Riverbend Park
Riverbend Park is a natural haven for outdoor enthusiasts. With over 10 miles of interconnected trails, you can hike, bike, or even paddle along the Loxahatchee River. The park is rich in wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled for alligators, turtles, deer, and a variety of bird species. The serene environment is perfect for reconnecting with nature.
Riverbend Park has a great picnic area that is first come first serve, if you want to barbeque! Riverbend is a 'trash free' park which means there are no trash cans, they provide trash bags at stands. No pets are allowed at Riverbend since it is a wildlife nesting area.
Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park is also located in Riverbend Park. You can explore the site of two significant battles of the Second Seminole War. Walking trails will tak you through the historical landmarks and informational plaques.
4. Stroll Through DuBois Park
Located at the mouth of the Jupiter Inlet, DuBois Park offers a beautiful lagoon ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The park's historic DuBois Pioneer Home, built by Harry Dubois in 1898, adds a touch of history to your visit. The numerous picnic areas and playgrounds make it a family-friendly destination. The park's shaded paths are great for a peaceful walk along the waterfront.
DuBois Park is a popular location so I would highly recommend if you plan to spend the day or are going on the weekend, arrive early. Parking is limited.
5. Enjoy Carlin Park
Carlin Park is another beachfront gem in Jupiter. It features a scenic walking trail, tennis courts, and ample picnic spots. The park's Heart Trail is a unique fitness path with exercise stations, perfect for those who want to stay active while enjoying the ocean breeze. With its well-maintained facilities and beautiful surroundings, Carlin Park is a local favorite.
If you are starting out late and the beach road parking is full this is a great place to find extra parking for the beach.
6. Visit the Loggerhead Marinelife Center
Dedicated to the conservation of sea turtles, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center offers free admission to visitors. Here, you can learn about sea turtle rehabilitation and conservation efforts. The center's interactive exhibits and the opportunity to see turtles up close make it an educational and engaging experience for all ages.
One of the most unique things to Jupiter, as the beaches here host one of the densest sea turtle nesting populations in the nation.
Pay attention if you are at the beach between March and October. First, for wooden poles sticking out of the sand to indicate a turtle has laid a nest there so give it space. And second, toward the later months, if you are an earlier riser, you are likely to see baby turtles hatch and make a dash for the sea.
Five species of sea turtles can be found in Jupiter, unfortunately they are all considered endangered. The Loggerhead, Green, Hawksbill, Leatherback, and the Kemps' Ridley sea turtles.
The Loggerhead Marinelife center is free, they do recommend a $10 donation when you walk in but again it is a recommendation.
7. Discover the Blowing Rocks Preserve
Managed by The Nature Conservancy, Blowing Rocks Preserve showcases a dramatic limestone shoreline, the largest on the U.S. Atlantic coast. During high tide, waves crash against the rocks, creating spectacular geysers of water. The preserve also features coastal hammocks, dunes, and mangroves, offering diverse ecosystems to explore.
Things to do while you are at Blowing Rocks Preserve:
Stroll along the beach where sea turtle nest March through October
Swim or snorkel along the nearshore worm reef
Walk trails through restored hardwood hammock, coastal strand and dune, and mangrove swamp
Visit the Hawley Education Center
Open (including parking lot) 9 am - 4:40 pm daily. Blowing Rock Preserve has limited parking so keep that in mind.

For a relaxing and visually stunning experience, take a scenic drive along Highway A1A. This coastal road offers panoramic views of the ocean, luxury homes, and lush greenery. There are plenty of spots along the way to stop, take photos, or simply soak in the beautiful surroundings.
